| Email your comments The first Knowledge Based Assessment in Geriatric Medicine will be held on 4 March 2009 The exam will consist of 2 papers (each of 100 questions in a best-of-five format). The KBA will be administered as an online examination. Click here for ore details about the development of KBA for medical specialties. More specific details about KBA are available on the MRCP website and see this page for more detail on the the application process. At present the cost of sitting the exam in the UK are £800 and £1000 if taken overseas. However the Federation are actively looking at the possibility of exam costs being linked to college membership subscriptions and therefore being potentially tax deductible, more on this will follow as news/updates emerge.
